Dr. Jeff Field

Dr Jeff Field is our resident expert in safely sedating
patients, so you can have the perception of going to sleep and waking up with the procedure all completed.

He is the only North American Board Certified Dental
Anaesthesiologist in Australia certified by National Dental Board of Anaesthesia of the American Dental Association. He has lectured in areas of Dental Sedation, Surgical Teeth Extractions and Dental Implants in Australia, Canada and Qatar.

With close to 35 years of expertise in sedation, Oral Surgery and all forms of general dental procedures, Jeff always makes the experience extremely simple and smooth.

Dr Jeff has 11 years of university (post-secondary school) education
and training and 35 years of practice experience to help you achieve an optimal treatment outcome. He started his education at the University of Western Ontario Canada where he completed an honours degree in both physiology and pharmacology. (1984)

He then attended the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry
where he completed a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. (1988)

He trained in Oral Surgery through the University of Manitoba
in Canada. (1989) and  he completed the Nobel implant surgical training through New York University. (1990)

He then completed the fellowship in Dental Anesthesiology through the American Society of Dental Anesthesia (2000). Although trained/qualified in general anesthesia in North America, Dr Jeff does not
practice general anesthesia within Australia.

 In 2005, he was granted the Endorsement in conscious
sedation from AHPRA, which is the only dental sedation qualification recognized in Australia.
